Right at home in the upper classes of 70s America, the Lincoln is a fusion of comfort, power and style. At 6 meters long and 2 meters wide, with a powerful 460ci big block engine, it’s truly a formidable car. It doesn’t skimp on the luxury, however. We prefer to call it the ‘arm chair with wheels’ due to its spacious, cushy seats you can just sink into.
This car started its life in the USA, it travelled to Australia for its RHD (right hand drive) conversion then to Hong Kong as an embassy car. The car returned to Australia as a hire car in Canberra before private ownership in Sydney, and finally made its way here. We drove this gem from Sydney to Melbourne, the problem being the dodgy wipers making for an interesting drive.
